BleueFantaisie E-zine collects the following personal information about our subscribers:
BleueFantaisie uses PayPal to process most subscription payments. Therefore, if you use PayPal, we never have access to your credit card or checking account information.
You must supply us with a valid email address in order to subscribe to BleueFantaisie E-zine. In order for you to access the e-zine, we must send you a password for each issue. We cannot do this without a valid email address at which we can contact you.
If you contact BleueFantaisie, but do not subscribe to the e-zine, we will retain the information necessary to contact you (name, email address, postal address and/or telephone number) as long as a valid business need for this information remains.
BleueFantaisie does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Subscriptions must be paid by credit card or transfer from a checking account (through eBay), or by check or money order (through postal mail). Such forms of payment are generally available only to adults, and paid subscribers or advertisers will be presumed to be adults unless we are informed otherwise.
In addition to the personal information described above, BleueFantaisie may collect data about access to our web site. This information generally cannot be associated with individual users.
If you subscribe to BleueFantaisie E-zine, we will contact you when a new issue of the e-zine is published (monthly) to provide you with the password (or other information) needed to access the issue. We will also contact you when your subscription is about to expire. In the unlikely event of difficulty processesing your subscription payment, or if your subscription request does not include all necessary information (valid email address), we will contact you to resolve the issue.
If you have contacted us but are not currently a subscriber, we may send you an invitation to subscribe. If you prefer not to receive such invitations, let us know. The best way to do that is by contacting us at privacy@bleuefantaisiee-zine.com. Any such mail will also contain instructions on how to be excluded from future mailings.
If you place an advertisement in BleueFantaisie, any personal information (name, email address, web address, etc.) in the advertisement will, of course, be shared with our subscribers.
If you submit a letter to the editor, and the letter is selected for publication, your name and location (city and state or country, if known) will be shared with our subscribers. Any personal information you reveal in the letter may also be shared with our subscribers. If you do not want your letter to the editor published, just request in the letter that it not be published. By submitting a letter to the editor, unless you request that it not be published, you are giving permission to publish your name and location (if known); letters will not be published anonymously.
If you submit an article, picture or other item for publication, and it is published, your name will accompany the item. In addition, any personal information included in the item will be shared with our subscribers. By submitting an item for publication, you are giving permission to publish your name and any information about you that may be included in the item you submit.
If you pay for a subscription or advertisement by check or money order, we will provide to our bank your name, bank account number and/or such other information as is printed or written on the check or money order, so that they can process the check or money order and collect payment.
If you pay for a subscription or advertisement using PayPal, we will provide to PayPal a description of the item purchased and the amount of the payment. PayPal will collect information from you, subject to their privacy policy, in order to process your payment; you are providing this information to PayPal, not to us. We will recieve your name, email address and payment amount from PayPal.
We hope that it will never be necessary, but in the event of a payment dispute we may share with a third party (collection agency, attorney) such information as is necessary to resolve the dispute and collect the debt.
We will divulge to a third party such inforation as in necessary to comply with a subpeona or warrant, or as otherwise required by law. There is no reason to believe that this should ever be necessary, but we want you to know that if it should happen, we may be required to reveal your information.
We will not share, sell, rent, loan or otherwise divulge your personal information to any third party for advertising or marketing of any product or service. We hate SPAM as much as you do!
We will not share, sell, rent, loan or otherwise divulge your personal information to any third party for any reason, except as described above to process payments, collect debts or comply with legal requirements, or as associated with a letter, article or picture you submit for publication.
